Located on Spittal Street, the newly re-opened The Oarsman brings seasonal bistro style to the heart of Marlow.
Under the new ownership of highly respected industry figures Nigel Sutcliffe and James Mclean, The Oarsman reopened with a fresh approach to dining. The bar and restaurant features an open kitchen presentation that enables the guests to view the chefs in action, creating a host of seasonal dishes from the best local suppliers. In addition to the kitchen, small plates from the charcuterie and larder counter help to establish The Oarsman as the perfect place to meet whether for a relaxed drink or a sophisticated dining experience.
Nigel and James have worked together for over 20 years within the industry, collaborating through the Restaurateur Consultancy organisation Truffle Hunting. Nigel has most recently been working with Heston Blumenthal and his Fat Duck Group to develop one of the world’s truly elite restaurants, The Crown at Bray.
